ANIRIDIA-NET #CA18116 COST Action holds regular management committee meetings as well as working group meetings to coordinate and organise the Action’s scientific and networking activities as listed in the ANIRIDIA-NET Memorandum of Understanding. COST Association representatives, all Action MC members as well as WG participants are invited to attend the actions meetings.

On the 26th of October AniridiaNet COST Action CA#18116 members connected for the action’s 4th MC meeting taking place fully online. A highly successful meeting that gathered ophthalmologist, researchers, industry and patient’s organizations members from 22 countries. Thank all the members for their enthusiastic participation in discussing the current progress of the action and stimulating a closer collaboration for improved understanding of aniridia and related eye disorders. ...

AniridiaNet COST Actions #18116 members and participants got together for the Action’s 3rd MC/WG meeting taking place at the Molecular Medicine Institute in Lisbon, last 27th and 28th February 2020, coinciding with Rare Disease Day []. A highly successful meeting that gathered ophthalmologist, researchers, trainees, industry and patient’s organizations to discuss recent advancements and to foster collaborations for further growth and research in the field of aniridia. Culture and assessment of LSC, clinical multicentre studies, harmonized clinical protocols, aniridia pathophysiology, post-transplant immunosuppression and MSCs for eye diseases are some of the topics covered during this networking event.
